We recently asked if given the opportunity to look inside an Allen & Ginter rip card or to sell it instead, there were responses from both sides.
But how about if you did decide to rip into one and got this Derek Jeter 1/1 Wood Mini card from the 2017 Allen & Ginter set (see link for eBay posting)?
If there’s a buyer that’s willing to pay the current $1,400 price tag on it, then financially it be worth it.
Still, if I were to decide to rip, I’d be hoping to get at least one that’s autographed. While the fact the card is made of wood, it seems more gimmicky than a value add.
What do y’all think?

Wood mini set are the best. All I collect. That Jeter is worth more than most minis available in a rip card. Would love to own it.
Good to know! Thanks!
