Vintage sports card profile: Nolan Ryan

Nolan Ryan, who played for a league-record 27 years of professional baseball, is a pitcher whose stats show just how dominant he was throughout his career.
This iconic rookie card is must-have for any true fan of the “Ryan Express”. However, one question remains: I wonder how Jerry Koosman feels about sharing his rookie card with the legendary pitcher?

Career: Played for four teams throughout his 27-year career including the New York Mets, California Angels, Texas Rangers and Houston Astros. “The Ryan Express” has the record for the most strikeouts at an astounding 5,714. He also has the record for the number of no-hit games currently sitting at seven.
Card facts: His 1968 Topps rookie card is shared by then teammate Jerry Koosman. Despite not having his own rookie card to himself, the value for a PSA Graded 9 or higher that is also centred nicely is still worth tens of thousands, which is hard to find (one sold within the last couple of years for more than $30,000).
On sale: Currently on sale for $3,050 as of April 12, 2017 for a PSA Graded 8 (Near MT-MT) with about five days left until the auction ends.
