According to this report, top prospect Gleyber Torres in the New York Yankees farm system is cruising through his minor league assignments.
For Yankees fans and collectors alike, that should be a source of excitement as Torres becomes one level away from joining the big-league club after just being promoted up from Double A to Triple A.
His 2015 Bowman Chrome Prospects base autographed card has already seen an upward trend as the hype started revving up during spring training. It was recently sold for $270.
That trend can certainly continue if he does well in his stint in Trenton.
For those who already believe, it might be a good time now to buy his rookie card although it certainly won’t be buying low.
Then again, there is usually an adjustment period all prospects experience when they get called up to The Show.
If you’re patient, that might be a good time to invest (i.e. Alex Bregman).
