Considered the only true rookie card of an iconic player, this 1948 Leaf Jackie Robinson is an important one for the hobby.
There’s no denying Robinson’s contribution to the game both on and off the field.
While breaking the color barrier in professional baseball, Robinson won Rookie of the Year when he was 28 years old, and batted a career .311 average with 137 home runs and 734 RBIs.
