Before a fellow collector points it out, the “rookie cards” suggested here of Vladimir Guerrero Jr. are technically prospect cards.

But as the number one MLB prospect going into the 2019 season, Guerrero Jr. already has a number of autograph cards available to collect. So we’ll consider these his rookie cards for the time being.

He has yet to play in the majors, but what he’s been doing in the minors has been incredible.

So it’s not surprising to see the hype surrounding Guerrero Jr. and how that’s impacted the value of his autograph cards already.

Here are the top 3 we like best with links to go buy them on eBay.

1. 2016 Bowman Chrome Prospect Autograph Card #CPAVG

This prospect/rookie card is by far the most valuable on the market right now.

The Bowman Chrome prospect autograph cards are particularly sought after by baseball rookie card collectors.

A nicely graded base card will cost you more than $1,000 and the more rare parallel refractors costs thousands.

The value could even climb higher if he continues to hit in the majors as he’s been doing in the minors.

2. 2016 Bowman’s Best (Best of ’16) Autograph Card #B16-VG

Here’s another great prospect/rookie card of Guerrero Jr. issued by Bowman in its 2016 Bowman’s Best set.

This won’t cost nearly as much as the Bowman Chrome prospect autograph card, but it still has plenty of value – particularly the more rare parallel versions of the card.

3. 2018 Optic Rated Prospect Autograph Card #RPS-VG

If you’re looking for an even more affordable alternative, the Optic Rated Prospect isn’t a bad choice.

While an official logo isn’t present in the photo, it closely resembles a Toronto Blue Jays uniform where he’s expected to be called up to this season.

The autograph is also on card, which is a nice touch.
