Vintage card of the day: Babe Ruth 1933 Goudey up on eBay

Babe Ruth is considered to be one of the greatest to have played the game and his name is part of pop culture transcending the boundaries of baseball.

One of his 1933 Goudey baseball cards (PSA Graded 4) is up for auction, which ends Sept. 11, 2017 at 9:12 p.m. (click link to see eBay listing).
Player: Babe Ruth
Career: Played 22 seasons from 1914 to 1935, beginning his career as a pitcher for the Boston Red Sox then later a slugging outfielder for the New York Yankees. His career batting average is a stellar .342, has 2,873 hits, 714 home runs, 2, 213 RBIs, and a ridiculous 2.28 ERA as a pitcher. Ruth is a 12-time American League home run leader, seven-time World Series champion, and two-time All-Star. 
Card facts: The 1933 Goudey baseball card set features Babe Ruth on four different cards including #149 featured here, which portrays the slugger on a red background. A PSA Graded 8 version of card #149 was sold for more than $150,000 through Heritage Auctions.
