Back in Safeco playing against the Seattle Mariners, Ichiro Suzuki hit a homerun, which might possibly be his last in the stadium where he started his Major League career. It was also on the same night the Mariners honored him with a bobblehead.

Ichiro, of course, made a big impact when he played for Seattle from 2001 to 2012 including setting the hits record in a single season with 262.

He also belongs to the exclusive 3,000-career hit club.

Ichiro’s rookie card is a worthy addition to any sports card collector’s collection with several worth mentioning.

One of the cards is his 2001 Upper Deck Ultimate Collection autographed card numbered to just 250. As one might suspect, it’s a rare commodity.

A couple of cards that are more accessible include the 2001 Bowman Chrome Refractor, which is a short print.

There’s also a variation card featuring Japanese text on the back. It’s available on eBay for about $550 that’s BGS Graded 9.5 (as of April 2017).

The 2001 SP Authentic “Future Watch” card is another popular rookie card of his and it’s numbered to 1250.
