It’s tough to be consistently good throughout the regular season but flame out (just as consistently) after two rounds in the playoffs. This Washington Post article articulates some of that frustration after they lost to the Pittsburgh Penguins in Game 7 last night.
It must have an impact on the superstar players of those teams that can’t seem to get over the proverbial hill to lead their respective team to the championship glory.
