It’s pretty incredible that the Shohei Ohtani superfractor 1/1 baseball card (BGS 9.5/10) sold for more than $184,000 at the Goodwin & Co. auction house.

Despite news of the seemingly inevitable upcoming Tommy John surgery, which will prevent Ohtani from pitching all of next season, the buyer obviously didn’t care.

So the long tale comes to an end for the most talked about sports card this year with the 2018 Bowman Chrome Ohtani superfractor finally pulled, displayed at the National Sports Collectors Convention, and then sold to the highest bidder.

For those still looking to invest in Ohtani, here are a few that’s up for auction on eBay.
