While it’s bad news that it’s becoming more likely for Shohei Ohtani to have Tommy John surgery, it didn’t seem to impact him much at the plate last night.
He hit two home runs and added a steal in the Wednesday night game against the Texas Rangers.
But if he does gets surgery soon on his right arm, that means he won’t likely pitch again until 2020. The hope is that he’ll be able to bat sooner though.
