The Toronto Raptors selected Scottie Barnes as the fourth overall pick in the 2021 NBA draft, which ended up being a great choice as he won Rookie of the Year honors. That certainly didn’t hurt the value of Scottie Barnes rookie cards.
He quickly proved himself as a worthy pick by becoming the second rookie in 25 years to record 100 points in his first six games in Raptors franchise history.
He also joined Shaquille O’Neal as the only other player who scored 170+ points and 85+ rebounds, shooting 50 percent or better in his first ten career games since 1985-86.
Barnes is known as a versatile player who uses his large frame to be a physical and disruptive presence to his opponents. He also has a solid mid-range shot and has a good nose for the ball enabling him to come up with steals and beat a defender off the dribble.
In his college days, playing for Florida State, hereceived ACC Freshman of the Year, ACC Sixth Man of the Year and Third Team All-ACC honours. ESPN considered Barnes to be amongst the top players in the 2020 recruiting class and the most highly ranked power forward in his class.

1. 2021-22 Panini Prizm Rookie Card #320
It was delayed in its production, but there is indeed a Scottie Barnes Prizm rookie card along with all its parallels to chase.
The base Scottie Barnes cards are affordable with the more rare parallels fetching a nice premium.
2. 2021-22 Donruss Optic Rookie Cards
One of the first sets to have Barnes in his Toronto Raptors uniform is found in Donruss.
Just like the aforementioned Panini Prizm set, there are plenty of parallels to chase for collectors on all different budgets.
3. 2021-22 Panini Origins Rookie Autograph Card
If you’re looking for a nice (and underrated, in our opinion) autograph card featuring Barnes in his pro uniform, check out his Origins auto.
With a background somewhat reminiscent of the Color Blast inserts, it’s a stylish card appealing to the eye.

Another high-end set with some great patch autograph cards is from National Treasures.
There are plenty of variations in this set including this one that comes in a booklet. It’s a go-to Scottie Barnes basketball card for many collectors.
