In a surreal day Sunday morning (Jan. 26), news started to spread of the death of Kobe Bryant as a result of a helicopter crash.
Condolences and tributes were shared on Twitter from all walks of life including current NBA stars.
When we wrote about this post before the L.A. Lakers decided to retire his two jersey numbers, we knew it was well-deserved.
After the tragic events of today, we hope he’ll continue to be remembered for both his accomplishments on and off the court.
RIP Kobe.
