Michael Kopech and his top 3 rookie cards

Heading into the 2020 season, Michael Kopech of the Chicago White Sox is one of the favorites to win American League Rookie of the Year.

His fastball can clock 100 mph plus at times and the top prospect who missed the 2019 season with Tommy John surgery is expected to contribute to a retooled White Sox team.

It might be a little risky to invest in pitchers but one with a top prospect pedigree playing on a young, exciting team is worth taking a look.

Here are top 3 choices for Kopech rookie cards to look into.

1. 2014 Bowman Chrome Autograph Prospect Card

The Bowman Chrome is one of the best (if not, the best) place to start for collectors to look into collecting with on-card autographs available of many top prospects and rookies.

There are plenty of refractors too with the rare ones already going for thousands. The base as of 2020 are still pretty affordable too – even the graded ones.

This Bowman Chrome card is also one of the earliest releases with Kopech as a prospect of the Boston Red Sox organization.

2. 2019 Topps Chrome Autograph Rookie Card

Another solid chromium stock card with a popular brand name is the Topps Chrome baseball set.

And Kopech has an autograph rookie card in his White Sox uniform available with several refractors to collect.

Plus they’re generally more affordable than the Bowman Chrome prospect cards.

3. 2019 Topps Heritage Real Ones Autograph Rookie Card

On the even more affordable side is the popular Topps Heritage set, which puts out the Real Ones Autograph subset.

The on-card autograph is a nice touch and Kopech is also in his White Sox uniform.
