With rosters expanding now that we’re in September, there will be plenty of prospects called up on different teams to get them exposure to the big leagues.
For the Los Angeles Dodgers, who’s an early favorite to win the World Series, the team called up prospect Alex Verdugo to bolster their lineup even further.
He made his debut in centre field against the San Diego Padres last night. Labelled as an advanced hitter, Verdugo will get the opportunity to show both his offensive and defensive skills as the Dodgers prepare for the post-season.
Currently, Verdugo’s 2015 Bowman Chrome Draft is listed at a reasonable price of $149.99 (BGS Graded 9.5/10) – click on link to see eBay listing.
There’s also a nice green refractor version numbered to 99 that is currently going for $799.99.
Both cards can see a boost if Verdugo hits the ground running.
