After all the hype behind the Lebron James Triple Logoman card from the 2020-21 Panini Flawless set (graded PSA Authentic), the one-of-one card sold for a cool $2.4M dollars (including the buyer’s premium).
With some guessing the card would sell as high as $6M, the price settled for much less at Goldin Auctions.
Still, whoever won the winning bid is now the owner of a unique card that consists of three game-worn or used NBA Logoman logo patches, with each coming from a jersey worn by James representing the three teams he’s played on – the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Miami Heat, and the Los Angeles Lakers.
From the Goldin website, they described the card as “unquestionably the most important Panini LeBron James card ever produced, and, with three Logoman patches hailing from arguably the greatest player of all time, the most unique celebration of “King James” and most important card in the hobby.”
Now the question is, was this purchase a good investment? Will it sell for more in the future or is this the highest price the card will see?
