There are mixed emotions I’m sure if you’re a Cleveland Cavaliers fan to hear one of the dominant point guards in the NBA, Kyrie Irving, has been traded to the Boston Celtics.
The question now is: With Irving seemingly getting his wish to be traded to play out of Lebron James’ shadow, will he take a step forward or will he find it a challenge to be ‘the guy’ on the team?
He’s already accomplished much since entering the league as a rookie in the 2011-2012 season. So his rookie card value should have a good base. It’s just a matter of whether it continues to climb or drop a little, which will depend on his performance for the rest of his career.
In the meantime, here’s three Irving rookie cards that are pretty sweet (click on link to see eBay posting directly).
