Visit our Daily Auctions page to see the latest sports card deals on auction ending daily! And listen to our podcast Cards To The Moon!

Kevin Durant was always a dominant talent on the courts starting from his rookie years playing for the Seattle SuperSonics/Oklahoma Thunder and as such Kevin Durant rookie cards are pretty valuable.

It didn’t hurt that he joined the Golden State Warriors where he cemented his legacy winning multiple championships along the way.

And while his tenure with the Brooklyn Nets didn’t turn out well, his trade to the Phoenix Suns in 2023 might be just what he needs to get back on the winning track who will now be playing alongside Devin Booker.

Here’s our pick for the perennial league MVP candidate’s best rookie cards available on the market (with links below to see the listings to buy or bid on).

1. 2007-08 Upper Deck Exquisite Collection Rookie Patch Autograph card #94

Not many collectors will be able to afford this Durant rookie card.

But it’s high value for the on-card autograph, great patch and low print-run numbered to just 99.

The ones that are available on eBay typically are listed for six-figures.

2. 2007 Topps Chrome Refractor Rookie Card

If the value of the first card is unattainable, this might be your second best choice.

It comes in a base Topps Chrome card but if you can afford it, the refractor numbered to 1499 is the way to go. Or better yet, go for the orange refractor numbered to 199.

This might be the go-to rookie card for die-hard KD fans and collectors.

3. 2007 Topps Rookie Card #112

This is definitely more available but it’s a classic Durant card.

It comes in several parallels including a nice gold that still maintains good value as well as a black parallel which is harder to find in mint condition.
