What a display of power tonight in Miami by New York Yankees rookie sensation Aaron Judge.
While the anticipated showdown between Judge and Miami Marlins outfielder Giancarlos Stanton didn’t materialize, fans were treated to a great show with some long bombs hit by the hometown hero himself.
Another hometown favorite, Justin Bour, showed he was no slouch in the derby slugging 22 home runs in the first round – of course only to be bested by Judge himself.
I anticipate there will be some Topps Now cards from the derby action with any signed by Judge going for a premium. The price, whatever it is, might actually be worth it.
