Don’t get us wrong – $5.2 million is a big number.

In fact, it’s a record-breaking number for the most expensive baseball card sold to date, which now belongs to the 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle baseball card in PSA 9 mint condition.

But is it still undervalued? Or another way of looking at it is by asking, “Can this iconic sports card sell for even more in the future?”

Check out the YouTube video below to dive briefly into the history of this iconic card and why the prospect of selling for even more isn’t that crazy (and please subscribe while you’re there!).

And if you’re just coming back to the hobby and you’re wondering how about the 1952 Mickey Mantle baseball cards are going that are graded a less than mint condition.

Well, this card even in worst condition holds great value. You can see the eBay listings below for yourself.
