More than 25 years after the iconic “Homer at the bat” episode of The Simpsons aired on television, a well deserved Homer Jay Simpson was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame.
That show is familiar to any Simpsons and baseball fans, which had some distinguished guests on that show including the likes of Ozzie Smith and Wade Boggs (who were in attendance at Saturday’s induction ceremony).

It’s highly recommended that you watch that show if you haven’t already and have a good laugh. Other notable appearances include Ken Griffey Jr., Jose Canseco and Don Mattingly.
Now that Homer is in the hall, I wonder if he’ll get a personalized baseball card too. It would be an instant collector’s item.
