Nope, this is the second post about Giancarlo Stanton within the past two weeks. The first one we asked whether it was time to buy back into what Stanton is doing. We also saw his 2008 Bowman Chrome autographed rookie (BGS Graded 9.5/10) was on sale at the time for $489.
Now that he’s been on a hot streak where he’s hit a homer in five straight games (now standing at 43 in total this season), the hobby has noticed. That same card increased in value to $589 here.
If his streak continues and he passes the 50 home run mark this month with a shot at 60, I could see the hype driving up the value even further.
Dare I say that it could hit the $1,000 mark?
