eBay announces inaugural Baseball Card Hall of Fame (Mickey Mantle, Cal Ripken, Mariano Rivera, more)

  • 2 min read

If you haven’t heard already, eBay recently announced its inaugural Baseball Card Hall of Fame featuring such players as Mickey Mantle, Cal Ripken Jr. and Babe Ruth to name just three.

Why?

Because eBay wanted to pay “homage to what is viewed by many as America’s second-favorite pastime, baseball card collecting.”

In their words, the very first class of 2019 “represents 10 legends and 5 hopefuls whose trading cards have held the highest value and had the greatest influence on the baseball cards and collectibles world.”

And we’ve featured several already on our website at fivecardguys.com with links on where you can bid or buy each of their rookie cards.

Here’s the list below and links to the post where you can see what cards are currently listed. We’ll also look to feature some of these players in the near future individually as well.
