Did these short prints save the 2022 Topps Series 2 Baseball set?

At first glance, the checklist for the 2022 Topps Series 2 baseball set seemed a little underwhelming.

But as we discussed in a recent episode of our podcast Cards To The Moon, a few short prints that were revealed to be part of the set definitely made the chase for hits a lot more interesting.

Baseball card collectors can rip packs from 2022 Topps Series 2 Baseball hoping to hit short print rookie cards of Julio Rodriguez, Bobby Witt Jr., and Spencer Torkleson – a la Ronald Acuna Jr. bat down rookie cards from the 2018 Topps Series 2 Baseball set.

But there is question of how “short printed” these short print cards.

Still, that could make these short print rookie cards a little more affordable to collect then for the JRod, Witt Jr., and Torkelson collectors to add to their PC.
