Considered by Baseball America to have that power and speed combination most teams covet, Bradley Zimmer showed some of that skill in his second career Major League game.
Screen Shot 2017-05-17 at 4.16.13 PM.pngHis first official hit in the big leagues was an RBI double off the wall and he later hit a homerun that same game. That’s what you like to see after his Major League debut didn’t go as well, striking out three times.
While it’s always the number one prospect for each team that gets all the attention, fans and collectors shouldn’t sleep on the other top prospects.
Zimmer has the potential to be a well-rounded player and as long as has the opportunity to be an everyday outfielder for the Indians, some patience is warranted.
His 2014 Bowman Chrome Draft was recently sold for $50 (BGS Graded 9.5/10), which is a fair price point. Although currently after his big game today, the lowest price on eBay seems to be $120 for the same graded card.
That would represent more of a buy high value. Better to wait to see how he does a little longer and see how he adjusts to big league pitching.
