It might be coincidence that the hottest card this season – the 2018 Bowman Chrome Shohei Ohtani superfractor – is up for auction via Goodwin & Co. (minimum bid to start is $6K!) around the time Ohtani is given the green light to pitch again.
The Los Angeles Angels phenom has already been batting for the past few weeks hitting homers here and there.
And if he’s able to pitch like he was doing before his injury, look for his autograph rookie cards to climb again.
