Charles Barkley and his best basketball cards

Charles Barkley might be one of the best NBA players to have never won a championship but his career isn’t anything to scoff at.

Even though Shaquille O’Neal reportedly likes to rub that in his face, Barkley with his career stats and his likeable on-air personality, his sports cards make for a potentially good investment.

Here are the three we like best with links below to bid or buy on eBay.

1. 1986-87 Fleer Rookie Card #7

Arguably his most popular rookie card, his Fleer basketball card from the 1986-87 set is a tough one to get with a high grade.

Similiar in design to the iconic 1985 Michael Jordan Fleer rookie card, a well-graded card can be worth thousands.

2. 1984-85 Star Rookie Card

Although this rookie card was released before the more popular and aforementioned Fleer rookie card, it’s not quite as valuable.

But there are some well-graded cards with decent value. Again, it’s hard to get a solid grade with the red border that can easily chip.

3. 2018-19 Panini Contenders Autograph Card

While the Panini Contenders autograph rookie cards are more sought after for relatively recent and current top rookies, some veteran players like Barkley have their own.

Like the new basketball cards, there are parallels to collect, image variations, and an autograph.
