It’ll be a fitting tribute today to the longtime New York Yankees shortstop who was the face of the organization for two decades.
Derek Jeter will have his No. 2 retired during a ceremony at Yankees Stadium and a plaque in Monument Park.
Jeter’s career has numerous highlights and milestones makes his rookie cards one of the more desired ones to collect with some already holding great value.
Since he’s left the game, there’s always comparisons on who could be the next Jeter (RE: Aaron Judge, Gleyber Torres). But as any Yankee fan knows, there will only be one Derek Jeter.
Kudos and respect to the captain and future hall of famer.
