While Alex Bregman’s $100-million extension signing may not be as impressive as Mike Trout’s record-breaking contract of $430 million (over 12 years), Alex Bregman rookie cards are worth a look when it comes to collecting investment cards.
After winning a World Series and having a breakout 2018 season, Bregman is still looking to improve his game.
For those who see the potential, here are three of his best rookie cards to collect in our opinion.
1. 2016 Bowman Chrome Prospect Autograph Alex Bregman Rookie Cards (#CPA-AB)
This has to be his definitive autograph rookie card of Bregman’s featuring the young star in his MLB uniform.
The autograph is on-card which is a plus and the Bowman Chrome brand can’t be beat when it comes to baseball prospect collectors.
There are also plenty of refractor versions out on the market with the rarer ones going for thousands of dollars currently.
2. 2010 Bowman Chrome USA Baseball Autograph Alex Bregman Rookie Cards (#USAA5)
While not as valuable as the aformentioned 2016 Bowman Chrome, this one is one of the earlier releases of Bregman’s cards.
It also has an autograph (although it’s a sticker auto), but there are multiple refractors to collect of this particular card.
3. 2017 Topps Heritage Real One Autograph Alex Bregman Rookie Cards (#ROA-ABR)
We love the classic look of Bregman’s rookie Topps Heritage cards.
The autographs on-card are nice with some in red ink and numbered.
There are also two variations of the card for hardcore collectors.
