After the Super Bowl, it’s time to turn your attention to baseball, and for hobbyists, that means the release of 2023 Topps Series 1 baseball set and new this year is the 2023 Topps Series 1 Golden Mirror short prints!
The flagship set where many players see their first official rookie card can be found in Topps Series 1 along with some autograph cards and special inserts and short prints.
Speaking of short prints, new to this year’s Topps Series 1 set is that there is something called the Golden Mirror image variation cards for every player in the 330-card checklist.
The Golden Mirror Image Variation cards are short-printed and presumably the stars in this set (ie. Julio Rodriguez) with their image variation should go for big bucks.
What are the odds of finding one in packs? Well, in a hobby box, it’s 1 in 454 packs and in a jumbo box, it’s 1 in 46 packs.
