EDITOR’S NOTE: This card went from $1.4M to $30,000 as of Sept. 11, 2017.
Out of curiosity, I searched on eBay for “baseball card” and sorted by “Price plus shipping: highest first.”
And this 1909 German baseball stamp of Honus Wagner popped up at the top listed for an astounding $1.4 million.
I wonder if the valuation is right for this card/stamp. Is it worth half of the amazing T206 Honus Wager baseball card, which sold for $3.12 million (PSA Graded 5) on Oct. 1, 2016?
And who are these buyers?
For those in the market with millions in their pockets and expensive taste, the card has been reduced by $90,000 – chump change I’m sure for the rich.
